The left PoaleZion party was liquidated by the Soviet authorities because of its opposition to the Bureya settlement project, it was stated here today.

It is related that the executive Committee of the left Poale Zion instructed its local committees in Russian towns to combat the Bureya project. A number of members of the party are sending in communications to the Yiddish Communist daily “Emes” declaring that they are leaving the party.

Thirty-two Jewish settlers in Bira Bidzhan have sent a protest against those members of he group who are returning to White Russia, where they are spreading alarming reports. These reports resulted in telegraphic inquiries from the relatives of the pineers. Public trials for the returning settlers are demanded.
