Police Get Nominal Terms for Parts in Riots

Punishment of not more than three days in jail was meted out to members of the police of Wolkowishki. Lithuania, where serious anti-Jewish excesses took place early in September, who were guilty of participation and encouraging the riots. The sentences were imposed by the Ministry of the Interior.

Hooligans who perpetrated the excesses, in which twenty were injured, have not yet been tried.
