The war against the Jewish dead is being continued even in such communities where there are no living Jews.

The Jewish cemetery of Borgen-treich, Westphalia, where there are no Jewish residents at present, was desecrated last night. Several tombstones were overthrown. This is the sixty-fifth case in the past two years.

The Junior Councils’ of the National Council of Jewish Women, have been urged to enter upon local campaigns to increase their national membership to 10,000, by October 1929, according to a statement made by Hazel Simon of Nashville, Tennessee, National President of the Council Juniors. The announcement was also made that the next biennial conference of the Juniors will be held in Cleveland in 1929, on October 27-30.
