Charging wholesale violations of the immigration act in industrial states along the Canadian border, the American Federation of Labor today adopted resolutions demanding enforcement of the quota law and legislation to put teeth in the existing law.
“We believe the restriction against entry of aliens into the United States should be more rigid in character though tempered with human considerations and applicable to all aliens,” the resolution adopted stated.
