Several hundred Jewish peddlers had their wares confiscated on the charge that they had no license to carry on their trade. They are threatened with jail and fine, in accordance with city regulations.

A committee formed in their behalf appealed to the Executive of the Warsaw Kehillah to intervene with the authorities.
