Cuza Appeals to Maniu in Name of Political Freedom (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

Anti-Semitic election posters placarded in Jassy by the anti-Semitic Cuza party were confiscated by the local authorities.

The action of the Jassy authorities called forth the protest of Alexander Cuza, who addressed a telegram to the Prime Minister complaining that the confiscation of the anti-Semitic posters is in contradiction to the promise given by the Maniu government that censorship would be abolished and that a free election campaign is guaranteed.
