Plans for the forthcoming convention of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, to be held here in February, were discussed at length at a meeting of the executive commitee on arrangements held at the Commercial Club. Samuel Dinkelspiel, chairman of the executive committee, presided.
Committee members were urged to speed up their efforts toward raising the $25,000 required to handle the convention and entertain the visiting delegates. To date between $6,000 and $7,000 has been subscribed.
