Consideration of the report submitted by the Permanent Mandates Commission on the situation in Palestine was postponed by the Council of the League of Nations in session here.

It was declared that the matter will be taken up at the session of the Council which will be held in March. The Council acted with unanimous consent.

The report was anxiously awaited in many quarters in view of its extensive reference, it is understood, to the controversy over the Wailing Wall.
