The prospects of having a Jewish Country Club in Denver were materially assisted recently when 24 Jewish men formed a realty club to purchase the 120-acre estate and home of Verner Z. Reed, Jr., just outside the city limits.
The realty company officers are making plans for the formation of a club, and hope to incorporate the Progress Club members in the new club, according to Samuel E. Kohn, who was elected head of the company.
The estate was purchased for $76,500, a sum of $100,000 less than the purchasing price set upon the grounds last year.
