About 600 men and women attended a dinner at the Hotel Plaza, New York, to Eugene E. Kline, honoring him for his services in behalf of the New York Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies. Mr. Kline headed the Ready-to-Wear Trades Committee which raised $236,000 for the Federation.

Sol M. Stroock, President of the Federation, presented Mr. Kline with a silver plaque upon which were inscribed the names of seventy-five of Mr. Kline’s associates in business and philanthropy. Jacob Sperber, who presided, announced that those present had contributed $25,000 in a special drive to complete the ready-to-wear quota of $250,000 before Dec. 31.
