Acting on the resolution passed at the Convention of the Council of Young Israel and Young Israel Synagogue organizations, held in 1928, that the Young Israel Council endorses the principles of the Mizrachi and that member-organizations be urged to affiliate with it, the Young Israel of Brooklyn voted at its meeting of January 8th, to affiliate with the Mizrachi Organization as a unit. Four hundred members of this organization automatically became members of the Mizrachi Organization of America.
