Dr. Meir Balaban, well-known Polish Jewish historian, was awarded a prize of 1,000 Zlotys by the municipality of Cracow.
The award was given to him in recognition of his research work into the history of the Jewish community of Cracow.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
