Anti-semites Threaten Life of Railway Chief

The chief of the railway station of Velikoluki, Ukraine. ### a Jew, was fired upon. The attempt on Gordon’s life is believed to be the result of anti-Semitism. Gordon’s life has been threatened several time in ### letters ordering him to resign his position if he holds his life dear. “Zhids cannot occupy such a position,” the letters have maintained. Several anti-Semitic employes are suspected of the attempt on Gordon’s life. An investigation has been started.
