The Roumanian and Hungarian press today carry a sensational report said to be based on correspondence between Prof. Albert Einstein and Melanie Serb, a clerk in a department store at Kronstadt.
According to the story. Prof. Einstein wrote to Miss Serb that after research work of thirteen years he had succeeded in finding a solution to a very important scientific problem. The famous scientist and the working girl have kept up a correspondence on scientific subjects, it was said.
