Rabbi Isaac Alkaly, Chief Rabbi of Jugoslavia, was elected to represent the Jewish communities of the country on the Council of the Jewish Agency. In the Zionist Congress elections held here, three General Zionists, and one Zeire Zion delegate were chosen.
