Vera Davidsohn, widow of the late Dr. Noah Davidsohn, a prominent Zionist worker here and administrator of the Jewish Students’ Home in Warsaw, who died in January 1928, and who before her marriage was a non-Jewess, daughter of the famous Czarist General Russki, has returned to the Christain faith and has married the ex-Czarist General Simenowski. Dr. Davidson’s father, Leibusch Davidsohn, was a leader of the Warsaw Jewish Community and an early Chovevei Zionist. Rabbi Chaim Davidsohn, a former Chief Rabbi of Warsaw was his great-uncle. He met his wife during the war while serving in the Caucasus as a military doctor.
