Four of the twelve Hebron Arabs charged with murder and looting in the house of Aboushdid during the riots were discharged because of insufficient evidence and without hearing the defense. The case of the other eight was adjourned until Tuesday when the defense will open its case.
Five Arabs from Betir pleaded guilty to the American mail robbery of February, 1929. Three of them, postal employes, were sentenced to two years, eighteen months and twelve months respectively, while a woman and boy accomplice received six month terms each.
