Arabs have made a protest against slight repairs to the Tomb of Rachel, one of the holiest Jewish sanctuaries, being made by the Jewish beadles. They have also protested against the bringing of chairs to the Tomb which is on the road between Hebron and Jerusalem. Hitherto the Jews have always brought chairs and have made repairs undisturbedly.
