Herschorn First Jew Named to Swimming Federation Executive

H. E. Herschorn, President of the Y.M.H.A. of Montreal and president of the Canadian Amateur Swimming Association has been named a member of the Executive of the International Swimming Federation, and is the first Jew to hold this post.

This is the highest honor within the gift of the Olympic Committee. Mr. Herschorn was in charge of the Canadian Olympic Swimming Team at the Olympics. He also served as judge of diving and was a member of the International Committee of Appeal.

He is prominently identified with Jewish activity in Montreal.
