The French High Commissioner participated in the laying of the corner stone of the new school being established by the Alliance Israelite Universelle in Damascus, a report in the Paris “Hajnt” declares.
The school is to be erected through the gift of Sir Eli Kadoori, who stipulated that the architectural design is to follow that of the first Temple.
