The Jewish Agency Executive in London will give a dinner on March 2nd in honor of a number of distinguished Jewish and non Jewish friends of Palestine, it was announced today.
Among the guests of honor will be Lady Astor, Walter Elliot, George Lansbury, Lord Melchett, Sir Herbert Samuel and John Buchan, chairman of the Parliamentary Pro-Palestine Committee.
Dr. Chaim Weizmann, former president of the Jewish Agency, will preside at the banquet. In view of Dr. Weizmann’s commitment to this banquet, it is held unlikely that he will make a visit to the United States this year, although it is stated that the matter is still under negotiation.
