Energetic members of the “Friends of New Germany”, will pay homage to the memory of Albert Leo Schlageter here, at a memorial meeting in Turn Hall, 85th Street and Lexington Avenue, Saturday evening.

Schlageter, a native of Schonau, was arrested, court-martialed and shot on May 26, 1923, in Golzheimer Heide near Duesseldorf by the French occupational forces in the Ruhr Valley.

Nazis in Germany will use the tenth anniversary of Schlageter’s death as an occasion for a large demonstration. The “Friends of New Germany,” Hitlerite organization in New York, will also seize this opportunity to demonstrate anew their loyalty toward Hitler and their hatred of the Frenchman and the Jew.

Eric Dinkelacker, draughtsman with the Otis Elevator Company, is chairman of the Schlageter Memorial Committee here. He is an active member of the “Friends of New Germany” and several other pro-Hitler organizations.
