Scouts Honor Dr. Adler

Dr. Cyrus Adler, president of the Jewish Theological Seminary, and president of Dropsie College, has received a message of appreciation from the Boy Scouts of America for his leadership and assistance in bringing scouting to an increasing number of Jewish boys. The message was signed by Dr. James E. West, chief scout executive of the Boy Scouts of America. At a recent meeting of the National Executive of the Boy Scouts, Dr. Adler was the recipient of the Silver Buffalo, the highest honor given annually for distinguished service to boyhood.
