Allegations that Cordell Hull, American Secretary of State, is a Jew, are contained in an article in the notorious anti-Semitic paper, Der Stuermer, of which Julius Streicher is owner.

The article, bitterly and insultingly anti-American, contains a strong attack against President Franklin D. Roosevelt and the American government. However, there is no indication in the article as to the basis on which Secretary Hull was adjudged a Jew.

Der Stuermer claims that the American government never made any sacrifices for the improvement of European economic conditions, because the United States is dominated by Jews.

The Nazi paper concludes by assuring its readers that as long as America is under Jewish influence, world economic conditions would become worse. In order to prove the anti-American allegations, Der Stuermer singles out the fact that the American government has refused to agree to a ten percent tariff reduction.
