Leipzig Professor to Be Honored at Dinner-fete

Dr. Alfons Goldschmidt, former dean of the School of Journalism of Leipzig University, will be the guest of honor at a dinner to be held Tuesday evening, September 26, by the American Committee Against Fascist Oppression in Germany, at the Hotel Lismore, 253 West 73rd Street.

Speakers, who will include Oswald Garrison Villard, editor of The Nation; Heywood Broun, Theodore Dreiser, Rabbi Jonah B. Wise, Bernard Deutsch, Professor Franz Boaz and Professor Ira B. Wile, will address the gathering on the theme, “Is Germany Today a Land of Medieval Barbarism?”
