Berl Locker, member of the World Zionist Organization Executive Board of London, will speak at the opening session of the third annual united party convention of the Poale Zion-Zeire Zion at the Hotel Sherman on June 27. The convention will last through July 2, with the business sessions being held in the Midwest Athletic Club.

About 120 delegates from the United States and Canada, representing eighty-two cities, already have promised to attend. Joseph Sprinzack, Haym Greenberg and Goldie Meyerson will represent the Histadruth at the convention.

Dr. H. Pomeranz, chairman of the convention committee, is in charge of arrangements.

Issues to be taken up include the Jewish Congress, Jewish economic reconstruction, cultural problems of American Jewry, political and social aspects of Zionism, problems of labor and immigration into Palestine; and the youth movement in America, with special emphasis on the Hechalutz, the recently organized youth organization, which is growing rapidly in the United States.
