Nazi Yorkville, officially, has officially absolved Hitler from the guilt of murdering seventy-seven persons in Germany during the “blood bath” of two weeks ago. Unofficially Hitler is still on trial, with conviction a possibility.

Speaking before almost 200 members of the Friends of New Germany in White Plains Saturday night, Fritz Gissibl, leader of the midwestern district of the organization and “power behind the throne” which now seats Hubert Schnuch, national leader, “testified” that Hitler’s “purging” of the party will serve to further unite Germans in Germany and Germans in this country.

Gissibl, Schnuch and William L. McLaughlin, all speakers at the meeting, expressed full satisfaction with Hitler’s purgative. They called for confidence in the New Germany and prophesied that Hitlerism would become stronger
