The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini, has returned from Saudi-Arabia and Yemen, where he had been a member of the peace mission negotiating between the two warring Arabian kings. He was welcomed by crowds of people at the various stations along the railway from Egypt and by road to Jerusalem.
One enthusiastic leader, at a reception at Ramleh, shouted: “Long live Haj Amin Al Husseini—the Hitler of Palestine.”
