Dr. Maxwell Ross, chairman of the Allied School Board, will be principal speaker tomorrow night at a meeting of the Vigilance Division of the Non-Sectarian Anti-Nazi League at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn. Bernard Lazare will also speak.
The purpose of the meeting, the League states, is to intensify the boycott of German goods. The Vigilance Division will center its attention on importers and storekeepers who are seeking substitutes for German goods. American substitutes will be suggested.
The Vigilance Division is also investigating removal of German markings from goods. Removal, alteration or defacement of markings indicating country of origin violates the Wald Act passed at the last session of the State Legislature.
