U.S. to Admit Young Exiles—as Visitors

The United States government is ready to permit the entrance of several hundred German Jewish children into this country providing they come here on visitors’ visas and not for a permanent stay, central German Jewish relief organizations were informed today.

There has been a widespread movement in the United States, particularly by Jewish organizations, to bring to America German Jewish children who are suffering as result of the persecution of the German Jews.
