Mrs. Madge Peer, who resides at the Hotel Douglas here and who claims to be of American Revolutionary stock, admitted today that she had sent a $25 contribution to the Nazi Camp Wille und Macht at Bridgetown.
“You may also be interested to know,” she smirked, “that I send $100 every Christmas to Adolf Hitler. No, I have never met the man, but I believe he has saved Germany from ‘Jewish Communism,’ and deserves support for that reason.”
Mrs. Peer believes the camp is a “fine thing to combat radical and subversive movements which threaten to undermine our government.”
“I would send my own son there if I had one that age,” she said.
