German-Jewish scientists now living in Palestine will take part in a Roentgenograph convention to be held here shortly. Theories of X-ray and radium treatment of cancer as well as diagnosis of abdominal diseases will occupy the attention of the delegates.

Palestine is expected to take the forefront in cancer research and treatment of diseases by X-ray and radium, as a result of the presence here of distinguished researchers, such as Professor Ludwig Halberstaedter, formerly of Berlin and now attached to the Hadassah Hospital in Palestine.

Halberstaedter is counted among the first handful of men in the world who have advanced research into cancer cure.

There is now about half a gram of radium in this country, and it is expected that further gifts will bring the quantity up to about a gram.
