Police Arrest 15 for Part in Haifa Clash

Fifteen participants in the clash which occurred late Thursday night between Revisionists and Laborite sympathizers were arrested in the last two days, communique issued by the police today disclosed.

Thirty were injured, the report stated, including seven policemen. All but two of the injured were discharged after treatment at the Hadassah Hospital.

According to the police version of the affair, some ninety Revisionists attended the meeting in Hadar Hacarmel, admission to which was by ticket only. Police guarded all approaches to the building.

A large crowd made up of Laborite sympathizers numbering about 1,500 gathered outside and jeered the Revisionists. When the first Revisionist orator began to speak, bricks were thrown through the windows and a shower of stones was hurled into the hall from all sides.
