Dr. Hans Friedenthal was elected president of the German Maccabi Organization to succeed Dr. Alfred Rabau at the fifteenth biennial conference of the organization just concluded here. There were 108 delegates present from all branches of the Maccabi throughout Germany.
The German Maccabee, it was reported to the conference, has nearly 18,000 members. More than 500 Maccabeeists are doing Hach-scharah to go to Palestine, and twice as many are already in Palestine.
