After spending six months filming the mining industrial, agricultural and fishing life of Soviet Russia’s Far Eastern territories, a motion picture expedition has left for Moscow to exhibit its films.

Among the pictures taken is a film depicting Jewish settlers at work in Biro-Bidjan, Jewish autonomous region set up by the Soviet government. The film has sound accompaniment featuring Jewish national songs and music. Scenes show the workers arriving in the territory and how they find work in the fields, gold mines and lime factories.
