Rites for Wormser, Optical Man, Held

Funeral services for Leo Wormser, a leader in the optical and jewelry industry here for more than thirty years, were held yesterday afternoon at the West End Funeral Chapel, 200 West Ninety-first street.

Mr. Wormser died Saturday in St. Luke’s Hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was 75 years old.

Coming to New York to establish a branch of the Julius King Optical Company, Mr. Wormser became a partner in the firm. At the time of his death he was proprietor of the Eastman Optical Shop, 12 Maiden Lane.

Two sisters, Mrs. A. Goldsmith of Pittsburgh and Mrs. David E. Lerner of Detroit, survive. Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Westchester.
