Judge Isidore Golden, sitting in the Criminal Court, today spurned the “eye for an eye” plea for a widow who demanded the extreme penalty for the slayer of her husband.
Judge Golden quoted the Hebrew prophet Micah on mercy when he sentenced the killer to a life sentence.
