Charles Fadem, son of Mrs. Fannie Fadem, of this city, who was recently graduated from the United States Navel Academy at Annapolis, has been assigned as an ensign on the U.S.S. Oklahoma.

Dr. Kurt Mansbacher, who until the advent of the Nazi regime was one of the leading physicians of Germany, has been appointed assistant professor of clinical medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine here.

Yale University has announced, through the Yale Alumnus Association of St. Louis, that Henry Kohn, Jr. of this city is the recipient of a four-year Yale scholarship. This is the first time that a Jewish boy has ever been awarded this scholarship in St. Louis.
