King George today received a delegation of Jewish leaders which called on him to pledge the loyalty of the Jewish population of Greece to the throne. Thanking the delegation for the expression of loyalty, the King voiced fullest sympathy with the Jews of Greece.
Special services were held yesterday by the Jewish population of Salonica marking the return of King George. Zvi Hirsch Koretz, chief rabbi of Salonica, officiated and civil and military authorities participated in the ceremonies.
