Migration Conference to Consider Polish Demands on Jews

Download PDF for this date

Poland’s demand for emigration of 80,000 Jews annually, voiced at the recent session of the League of Nations, will be considered at the biennial session of the International Labor Office’s Migration Committee, opening tomorrow.

The committee’s discussions are considered preliminary to consideration of the question by the League at its next session since the committee’s functions are purely advisory and it can take no action. It is expected, therefore, that Polish representations will be aimed only at focussing attention on her demands.
