Jewish Federations Join in Greater New York Fund

The Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies of New York and the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities are among the organization, which will cooperate with the Greater New York Fund, Inc., a new permanent fund which will seek $10,000,000 in contributions from business firms and employes for the city’s private health and welfare agencies, it was announced last night at a meeting at the Center Theatre launching the fund. James G. Blaine, president of the fund, said it will be “the first united philanthropic movement in the city’s history to include all faiths, creeds and races for the support of all charities.”
