The Jewish Social Welfare conference concluded this afternoon with the election of Dr. Joseph J. Schwartz, Executive Director of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, as president; Israel S. Chipkin, director of the Jewish Education Association, New York, and Isidore Sobeloff, executive director of the Detroit Jewish Welfare Federation, as vice-presidents; Joseph E. Beck, Philadelphia, reelected treasurer, and Moses W. Beckelman, New York, reelected secretary.
