The British Zionist Federation today proclaimed the week of Oct. 2 to 9 “Palestine Week” for “restating the acute gravity of the Jewish problem and the inevitability of a Zionist solution.” The proclamation cites as motive for the week “the approach of the closing stages of the work of the Woodhead (Partition) Commission and the hour for fateful decisions by his majesty’s Government on the future of Palestine.” Meetings the country over will be addressed by Zionist leaders and members of Parliament.
