American support of resistance to a solution of the Palestine problem that is unfavorable to the Jews has had something to do with British reluctance to force through the plan for an Arab-controlled state in Palestine, it was declared today by Col. Josiah Wedgwood, Laborite M.P. Addressing a Jewish meeting at Leeds, Col. Wedgwood declared Jews must make it clear that they are united to resist injustice in Palestine and that they are ready to fight for Great Britain. He said a change in the European situation might help the Jews.
