Doctors Here to Be Invited to Join Ose-red Cross Medical Unit

American Jewish doctors and nurses will be asked to volunteer for service in two special medical and first aid units being planned by the World OSE, Jewish health society which operates in eastern Europe, it was announced here today. The units will be sent to Poland. Plans for formation of the medical corps were mapped by leaders of the OSE here in cooperation with the Swedish Red Cross.

A delegation of Polish Jewish leaders in Paris is being organized to go to the United States to consult with American Jewish relief organizations on methods of aiding the war refugees. Members of the delegation have been informed by the American Consulate here that they will be given visas since the Polish Embassy intervened on their behalf with United States Ambassador William C. Bullitt.

The delegation is expected to include Carol Sachs, noted Warsaw Jewish industrialist who was stranded in Vichy when the war broke out; ex-Senator Rabbi Rubinstein, who was stranded in Belgium; Emil Schmorak, Polish Zionist leader; Engineer Anshell Reiss, director of the Palestine Office in Poland; Dr. L. Ullmann, welfare worker, and M. Appenschlak, chief editor of the Polish-language Jewish newspaper Nasz Przeglad.
