The opening of a Hebrew Department in Hunter College, New York, was announced here today. The Department will be headed by Professor Israel Efros, who was connected with the University of Buffalo and is the president of the Histadruth Ivrith, National Organization for Hebrew Culture in America. There will be three courses both in the day and evening sessions.
