Nation-wide Program for Jewish Adult Education is Launched

In order to strengthen the religious factors in the American national defense program, and in order to help preserve Jewish life in this country, Dr. Louis Finkelstein, President of the National Academy for Adult Jewish Studies under the auspices of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, today announced the launching of the second annual, nation-wide program of adult Jewish education.

More than 100 Institutes of Jewish study throughout the country are to offer courses of study on various phases of Jewish Religion, the Bible, Post-Biblical and Modern Literature, the Prayer Book, Contemporary Jewish Affairs, and Jewish Family Life.
