Germany still hopes that “cooperation” by anti-Semitic elements among the United Nations will redound in its favor, it is indicated in an article distributed by the official press agency of the Nazi party for publication in the press throughout Germany and abroad.
The article reaching here today points out that “the Jewish problem has become a world problem.” It repeats Goebbels’ line of propaganda that “the great struggle started by the Jews can only lead to victory or annihilation.”
“There cannot be any peace between us and the Jews, therefore we are doing all we can to attract attention in the countries of our enemies to the Jewish problem,” the article says. “Only history knows what extent anti-Semitism among our enemies can change matters in our favor. We know that our realistic attitude can lead to the fact that anti-Semitism may become a world-wide movement. As the war goes on, there is increasing evidence that our enemies are becoming aware of the existence of a Jewish problem and this may increasingly influence the future conduct of the war.”
