Cable Service Between Palestine and Tunisia Resumed; Yishuv Greets Tunisian Jews

Marking the re-establishment of telegraphic communications between Tunisia and Palestine, the Zionist executive today cabled the Tunisian Jewish Community its “warm greetings on your liberation,” adding that “our brethren in Nazi Europe are impatiently awaiting speedy liberation also.”

A huge mass meeting in Tel Aviv today, arranged by the Association of Bulgarian settlers, protested the Bulgarian Government’s persecution of Jews. It adopted a resolution scoring the recent expulsion of most of the Jewish population of Sofia to internment centers in provincial cities.
