Redress of the wrongs done the Jews of Hungary by previous regimes was pledged here by State Secretary Balogh, addressing a Jewish meeting as a representative of the Government. The meeting was called to demonstrate against the statement by British Foreign Minister Bevin on Palestine and to demand the opening of Palestine to displaced European Jews.
